Long time no see. I know that all you want to read what is happening with me, lot's of you don't know anything about what i do, so now i will tell you little bit whats happened and what will happen in near future.

My last post was on March 2, today is 14 of April, so what has been done in this period? I had very hard work, colleague went to month long holidays, leaving me with all his work, so had no time to to anything, just work. But i was doing not only work, some things are more necessary than work, it's weekend relaxation, as some of you may know my favorite hobby is water tourism, so we started in the middle of March to go to rivers and trying to catch high water level... In the end of March was Barcamp Caspian where i wanted to go, but my funds was low so i decided to skip this trip to Azerbaijan, next Barcamp is in this weekend BarCamp Central Asia in Kazakhstan's capital Almaty. I'm not going there neither, in this time i have water tourism competition in Iecava, where my role is one of organizers of event. In this year i was on two another competitions, first was Divaja, and second one was Amata last weekend.

On March 5th i launched Latvian Twitter top, now after one month there are 241 followers and top participants, this initial version is full of bugs, but i have no time to start new versions, plans are big, but time is not so much, so if you are programmer, and want to help develop this project, send me some message...
Remember, you need to be Latvian to participate in this top!

Next big thing i wanted you to do is give some donations to Mareks Ruskuls, he want's to publish his drawings, i already donated some amount, and want you to do the same, if you donate more than 4,5 EUR you will get a copy of book. Also you can buy place on logowall, logowall will be printed on the back of book.

This Year i was also in org-team of this event. This year event was organized very good, people said that better then last year. It's not my opinion, it's visitors opinion.

My personal opinion about this: The Main event weas great, Ninja Night Afterparty was mega super duper good, and BarCamp Idol was great too.

The work on next year's web page must be started on August, and needs to be ready in October, right on dates when BlogCamp Cee will be.

This year just like last year in February 6-8, in Reval Hotel Latvia will be going Barcamp Baltics 2009, just like last year, but this year in place of innovation incubator there will be Barcamp Idol, what will be funny, because it will be on half of Barcamp and half of American Idol. So we wanted to introduce more people with this, so please log into digg.com and digg this story.

on internet business.

One year later Kyiv-campers are inviting their neighbours both from
East and West, South and North to get to know each other. 500
bloggers, new media professionals and entrepreneurs will gather in
Kyiv, Ukraine on October 17-19th for Blogcamp CEE 2008 -

opportunity to hold presentations for the international audience on up
to 5 parallel agenda tracks on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th. Public
discussions and brainstorming sessions are traditional barcamp tools

you may also visit regional internet market orientation sessions and

Šobrīd ar coolynx sēžam lidostā, un rakstam pēdējos bloga ierakstus no Kazahstānas, tikko nosēdās lidmašīna no Rīgas, kas nozīmē, ka viņa nolaidās laikā, un aizlidot mums arī vajadzētu laikā. Kā jau iepriekš minēju, šeit laika starpība ar Rīgu ir 3 stundas, mums šobrīd šeit laiks ir 7:25, pie jums ir 4:25, kas nozīmē, ka šo postu jūs lielākā daļa lasīsiet, kad mēs vēl joprojām atradīsimies kaut kur virs Krievijas, bet jūs būsiet ieradušies savās darbavietās. Ielidojam Rīgā plkst. 10:35 pēc Latvijas laika, lidojums ilgst 5 ar pusi stundas.

Par lidostu - ļoti maz suvenīru lidostā, nevienu nenopirku, jo tie ir Kazahstānas, bet mēs tak tomēr bijām Kirgiztānā, un Kazahstānu mēs apskatījām tikai cauri braucot. Vēl lidostā valda ļoti liels bardaks, mēs stāvējām rindā uz pasu kontroli aptuveni stundu, kad bijām piegājuši gandrīz jau tuvu, sāka nervozi kaut kādi darbinieki skraidīt un vilka cilvēkus no rindas ārā, un dzina uz pasu kontroli, viens no reisiem bija uz Dubaju, kurš bija pēc 10 minūtēm, otrs bija uz Amsterdamu, kurš bija pēc 20 minūtēm. Pašās beigās palaidām vēl veselu kaudzi amartizatorus (tā saucām viņus lai viņi nesaprastu ka runājam par viņiem. Uzmini nu?), vēl runājām par termostatiem (drošības nolūkos), kuri stāvēja un gaidīja kamēr pārbaudītāja ar viņa dokumentiem devās nezināmā virzienā un uz nezināmu laiku. Internets Lidostā ir diezgan drausmīgs, bet ir. Ar otro reizi sanāca pieslēgties.

Par ceļu līdz lidostai, arī šoreiz tāpat kā uz Biškeku, devāmies ar mikroautobusu, kurš savāca mūs no naktskluba, kurā bija neoficālā BarCamp noslēguma ballīte, mums bija 50% atlaide ieejai. Tā mēs tur izārdijāmies un ap 00:30 mikroautobuss bija "padots", tad aptuveni pusstundu notika vēl Baltkrievu atvestā dzēriena tukšošana un dažādu solījumu došana viens otram. Un tad aptuveni 4 stundas salda miega.

Paldies mursya par transporta organizēšanu, ja nebūtu viņas, būtu jābrauc ar taksi un ceļs uz turieni nebūtu tik interesants.

Paldies tiem, kas noorganizēja BarCamp Central Asia, tie ir Kristīnei, Bektouram un Rināts, kuri bija 3 no organizatoriem, protams BarCamp nozīmē mēs visi esam arī organizatori, bet vienmēr ir kāds, kurš uzņemas iniciatīvu, un šoreiz šie cilvēki bija augstāk minētie. Un protams paldies jāpasaka arī Opera Software, kuri iedeva naudu mūsu transportēšanai no Rīgas uz Biškeku.
